Point Counter Point
The numerous dangers of today have forced millions of people into a reality that is very different from their goals and desires. The latest wave of tremors caused by mass shootings, the political instability in many nations, the ongoing, never-ending global pandemic, and the social turmoil in this country have all worsened the state of humanity worldwide.
The seeds of a revolution are currently being sown in the United States, where political parties are so bitterly divided and compromise is never an option. The latest stimulus bill was merely a pretext to lull the public into a false sense of security, according to some, as the IRS and Social Security purposefully delayed the distribution of billions of dollars into bank accounts across the nation while they took extraordinary measures to ensure the financial institutions' profitability. The claims that the banks are acting in the public's best interest by quickly depositing these stimulus monies into customer accounts should not be believed. The temptation to do so is too great with billions of cash on the horizon.
The uphill battle for millions to achieve or restore a quality of life is one that too many people can't win, even when the public receives government aid in the form of stimulus spending. the ongoing fight for a standard of living comparable to what America provided for millions throughout the 1950s through 1960s, when we were at the height of our economic power. It has been much too long that we have been fighting this uphill battle. a never-ending battle against insurmountable obstacles, particularly today. This seemingly interminable conflict may not even be possible to prevail in.
Too many people continue to struggle on a daily basis. Millions have been abandoned by a country that is too split against itself, and they still are, leaving them with nothing but regret. Every time there is a faint hope that they could be delivered from their daily toil, our corporate government quickly covers it up with lies and dishonesty.
The greatest wealth gap on earth has forced the masses to submit and accept their position in life. Yes, many people are able to improve and modify their quality of life with hard work and a little bit of luck. But too many people are set back or never manage to climb the ladder of upward mobility.
